A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled “Public health code,” (MCL 333.1101 to 333.25211) by adding sections 12722, 12723, and 12724.
The legislation mandates notification and provision of resources to private well owners and nearby residents when PFAS contamination exceeds safe levels, and establishes a voluntary registry for testing notifications.
