A bill to amend 1956 PA 218, entitled “The insurance code of 1956,” by amending section 3107b (MCL 500.3107b), as amended by 2020 PA 104.
The bill amends the insurance code to specify conditions for coverage of optometry, chiropractic, and physical therapy services, including a new provision allowing advanced practice registered nurses to prescribe physical therapy services for insurance coverage.
