Whereas, JCI Michigan, an affiliate of Junior Chamber International (JCI), was established in 1924 with a mission to empower young individuals to create positive change in their communities and develop leadership skills; and
Whereas, For the past century, JCI Michigan has been a driving force in cultivating a culture of active citizenship, community involvement, and personal development among its members; and
Whereas, JCI Michigan has consistently demonstrated a commitment to the betterment of society through various impactful projects, initiatives, and community service endeavors; and
Whereas, The organization has served as a beacon of inspiration by fostering a spirit of innovation, collaboration, and social responsibility among its members, thereby contributing significantly to the growth and progress of the state of Michigan; and
Whereas, JCI Michigan has played a vital role in shaping the leaders of tomorrow by providing a platform for young individuals to develop skills, exchange ideas, and build networks that will serve them in their personal and professional lives; and
Whereas, The dedication, passion, and resilience of JCI Michigan’s members have left an indelible mark on communities across the state, creating a lasting legacy of positive change; and
Whereas, As JCI Michigan celebrates its 100th anniversary, it is fitting to recognize and commend the organization for a century of unwavering commitment to fostering leadership, community service, and personal development among Michigan’s youth; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the House of Representatives, That the members of this legislative body commemorate the 100th anniversary of JCI Michigan. We express gratitude for the organization’s century-long commitment to empowering young leaders and making a positive impact in communities across the state; and be it further
Resolved, That this resolution be duly recorded and shared with the members of JCI Michigan as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the betterment of society over the past 100 years.
