A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled “The revised school code,” by amending section 1711 (MCL 380.1711), as amended by 2016 PA 532.
The legislation requires licensing for adult day-care facilities in Michigan, establishes fees, outlines compliance and enforcement measures, and mandates related rulemaking, contingent on the enactment of additional bills that also create a fund to support this and require ISDs to increase their responsibilities for programming to this population up to the age of 40 years old.
