A bill to amend 1949 PA 300, entitled “Michigan vehicle code,” by amending section 803b (MCL 257.803b), as amended by 2023 PA 129.
Bans naughty words or hateful messages from personalized license plates. Secretary of State already screens out inappropriate requests. This will put that practice into Michigan law with clearer guidelines.
