SB 776 amends the Use Tax Act to refine definitions, adjust tax inclusion and exclusion criteria, and cancel certain outstanding tax assessments related to delivery and installation charges, contingent upon the passage of a related bill. SB 777 amends the General Sales Tax Act to clarify definitions, include certain charges in the sales price, cancel specific outstanding tax assessments, and prevent new assessments for past periods, contingent on the passage of related legislation.
