Notably, it allows individuals who are licensed to carry a concealed pistol and are serving as members of the Michigan House of Representatives or the Michigan Senate to carry concealed pistols within the newly added premises. Additionally, the bill retains exemptions for individuals providing security services, peace officers, and those who have obtained permission from the entity's owner or agent.
