A bill to amend 1967 PA 281, entitled “Income tax act of 1967,” (MCL 206.1 to 206.847) by adding section 281.
The bill provides a $2,500 refundable tax credit for qualified volunteer firefighters and emergency medical services personnel in Michigan, effective from the 2025 tax year, by amending the Income Tax Act of 1967.
