A bill to amend 1927 PA 175, entitled “The code of criminal procedure,” by amending section 14b (MCL 777.14b), as added by 2002 PA 29.
Senate Bills 6 & 7 amends existing wage and fringe benefit laws to redefine what an independent contractor is. This also creates new penalties on business owners for violating these new definitions.
