2001 House Bill 4259 ↩
Senate Roll Call 217:
Passed
To adopt a House-Senate conference report for the FY 2001-2002 Department of Natural Resources budget. This appropriates $253.4 million in adjusted gross spending (funded from all sources, including state restricted fund and federal pass-through dollars, minus interdepartmental transfers), an increase of .6 percent compared to the current year's $251.7 million, which was the amount enacted in 2000. Of this, $52.1 million will come from the General Fund (funded by actual state tax revenues), compared to the current year's $55.9 million, a decrease of 6.7 percent. This slightly overstates the reduction in spending, because the figure is reduced by the transfer of a $2.07 million General Fund appropriation for the Mackinac Island State Park to the new Department of Arts, History, and Libraries.
