To eliminate two judgeships in the 3rd Judicial Circuit in Wayne County, add two judges in the 6th Circuit in Oakland County, add one judgeship to the 7th Circuit in Genesee County, add two judgeships to the 16th Circuit in Macomb County, add two judgeships to the 17th Circuit in Kent County, and add one district court judgeship for the Northville, Canton and Plymouth area of Wayne County. The bill would also eliminate one judgeship from the 30th District Court in Highland Park, either when a vacancy occurs, or at the end of the term of an incumbent judge who is not eligible to seek reelection, whichever occurs earlier.
