To provide that the state and federal transit funding which now goes to the Detroit Department of Transportation and the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) will flow to both SMART and the Detroit Area Regional Transportation Authority proposed by House Bill 5467, should that bill become law.
