In particular the bill authorizes the state to continue restaurant inspections should a local health department be unable to or choose not to, with fees assessed on local establishments to pay for the state inspections; revises mandated disclosures by restaurants on the potential hazards of raw or undercooked foods; and clarifies which state agency is responsible for regulation of restaurant ventilation equipmentagency is responsible for regulation of restaurant ventilation equipment.
