2003 House Bill 5184 ↩
House Roll Call 653:
Passed
To require adult foster care facilities to conduct criminal history checks on new employees, and prohibit them from employing individuals convicted within the past 15 years of a felony, or within the past 10 years of a misdemeanor involving abuse, neglect, assault, battery, or criminal sexual conduct, or involving fraud or theft against a vulnerable adult. The bill would also allow an adult foster care facility to also be licensed as a foster family home.
