To define the term "peace officer" in the law that covers enforcement of snowmobile driving regulations. Under the bill, a peace officer would be a sheriff or deputy; a village or township marshal; a municipal police officer; a state police officer; DNR conservation officers; or any state certified law enforcement officer, as long as that officer was policing within his or her jurisdiction.
