To extend the public bid request procedures that apply to public schools to Intermediate School Districts (ISDs), and require requests for construction bids be posted in on a state website as well as in local newspapers. The bill would also raise the threshold amount requiring school officials to seek competitive bids on renovations, repairs, or new buildings, from $12,500 to $17,932.
