2004 Senate Bill 1062 ↩
House Roll Call 443:
Passed
The House version of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2004-2005 community colleges budget. (Note: Gov. Jennifer Granholm’s proposed budget for this department is Senate Bill 1035.) This appropriates $285.7 million in adjusted gross spending (funded from all sources, including special state restricted fund and federal pass-through dollars, minus interdepartmental transfers), compared to $289.0 million, which was the FY 2003-2004 amount enrolled in 2003. All of this comes from the general fund (funded by actual state tax revenues). The House version authorizes approximately the same level of spending as the governor recommended, and does not inlude the cuts proposed by House Bill 5527.
