To extend the public bid request procedures that apply to public schools to Intermediate School Districts (ISDs), and require requests for construction bids be posted in on a state website as well as in local newspapers. The bill would also require bids to disclose any familial relationship existing between the bidder and a school or ISD board member or official; and raise the threshold amount requiring school officials to seek competitive bids for building and repair projects from $12,500 to $17,932.
