To prohibit the release on bail of an individual who has been convicted of criminal sexual conduct against a minor, but who has not yet been sentenced, or who has appealed the conviction. The bill contains an exception for cases in which one of the actors is at least 13, but less than 16, and person charged with the crime is within five years of age of the first actor.
