2005 House Bill 4541 ↩
Senate Roll Call 292:
Passed
To allow motor sport spectators to bring their own beer and wine into certain racing facilities that have at least 1,500 seats (such as Spartan Speedway in Ingham County) and which have $50,000 in liquor liability insurance. Current law allows this only for a facility that seats at least 70,000 (Michigan International Speedway). The bill also eliminates a requirement that a majority of the concessionaires at motorsports events be from nonprofit civic and charitable organizations.
