To authorize the sale by the state at fair market value of the 35 acres of the former Michigan school for the blind property in Ingham county. The school was closed in 1994. The bill would give the Mid-Michigan Leadership Academy right of first refusal for a limited time. This charter school presently leases part of the property. The bill would 5 percent of the sale revenue to the Newsline for the Blind Fund; 5 percent to support of Camp Tuhsmeheta in Greenville, Michigan; and the balance to the state General Fund.
