Registered designers would be subject to state regulations, a $70 annual fee, continuing education requirements, etc. Unregistered individuals would not prohibited from providing interior design services so long as they do not call themselves an "interior designer" or similar term. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of House Bills 4262, 4311 and 4312.
