2006 House Bill 6110 ↩
House Roll Call 664:
Passed
To name the state-owned land containing the White Pine Trail, the Fred Meijer White Pine Trail State Park. This comes two weeks after the Natural Resources Commission turned down a $1 million donation from the Meijer Stores family, which was contingent on the trail being named after Mr. Meijer. The bill also would require the Department of Natural Resources to facilitate the establishment of a recreational trail from Whitehall to North Muskegon, and name it the "Fred Meijer Berry Junction Trail".
