To prohibit the Department of Natural Resources from selling more than 100 acres or 15 percent of a state park, wilderness area, wild area, or natural area unless the legislature passes a law allowing it. Also, to require proposed sales to first be referred to the 17-member citizens committee for Michigan state parks created by <a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2005-SB-1280">Public Act 392 of 2004</a> for a recommendation, and for public hearings to be held on proposed sales.
