The Senate version of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2006-2007 Department of Environmental Quality budget. This appropriates $372.1 million in gross spending, compared to $455.2 million, which was the FY 2005-2006 amount enrolled in 2005. Of this, $33.3 million will come from the general fund (funded by actual state tax revenues), compared to the FY 2005-2006 amount of $32.8 million. Another $180.2 million is "restricted fund" money from other state fee revenue, or past borrowing (bond sales).
