To authorize the sale by the state at fair market value of the 35 acres of the former Michigan school for the blind property in Ingham county, which was closed in 1994. The bill would sell 8.5 acres to the Mid-Michigan Leadership Academy, a charter school that now leases part of the property, and the balance to the Lansing Housing Commission for a public housing project. Five percent of the sale revenue to the Newsline for the Blind Fund and the rest to support of Camp Tuhsmeheta in Greenville, Michigan.
