To request the State Officers Compensation Commission to recommend a 5 percent reduction in salaries of the members of the Legislature, the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the Attorney General, and the Secretary of State the next time the commission meets. Also, also urge the legislature (that is, urge themselves), to pass a joint resolution that would place before voters in the next general election a Constitutional amendment to cut legislative salaries by 5 percent.
