To extend from 15 days to 90 days the amount of time an employee who was on a leave of absence because of active duty military service has to notify the employer that he or she is seeking re-employment under a state law the requires and employer to take the person back with the same seniority and rights that would have accrued but for the military service. The bill also authorizes lawsuits by employees against employers who fail to observe the mandate.
