To require beverage container dealers to add unique markings to containers sold in this state that make them readable by “reverse vending machines” used by retailers to process bottle deposit returns. This would not apply to brands of beverage that have lower volume sales, and is intended to catch non-deposit containers turned-in for a deposit. See also Senate Bill 1648.
