To include stealing catalytic converters in the law that authorizes penalties of up to five years in prison for stealing any wheel, tire, air bag, radio, stereo, clock, telephone, computer, or other electronic device from a vehicle. There has been a rash of catalytic converter thefts in the past year due to the high prices attained by the commodities they are made from.
