To revise and add to the current requirements for coordination between Friend of the Court offices and the Department of Human Services in cases of child abuse or neglect. The DHS would be required to notify the FOC whenever there is a suspected child abuse or neglect case involving any of the latter’s cases, and would be allowed to notify the FOC if there have been multiple unfounded abuse complaints from one parent about the other parent. The DHS would be required to notify parents of a child who is suspected of being abused or neglected of their option to request a change in child placement.
