To revise the provision of the “<a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2005-HB-5047">21st Century Jobs Fund</a>” business subsidy program that is supposed to assist state universities transfer “competitive edge technologies” to the private sector, by expanding that to include "bioeconomy technologies" by means of “bundling of inventions" (from different universities) into packages of interest to private sector firms looking for commercialization opportunities, expanding university technology transfer offices, and providing “incentives for faculty who participate in technology transfer and commercialization activities”.
