To extend the expiration of the law that authorizes liquor and hotel taxes to pay for debt service on Cobo Hall from 2015 to 2039, authorize the use some state cigarette tax revenues and some of the money borrowed for the “<a href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2005-HB-5047">21st Century Jobs Fund</a>” for Cobo Hall, and make other revisions to the Cobo Hall financing law to accomodate its tranfer to a regional facility (see Senate Bill 1630).
