2010 Senate Bill 1092 ↩
House Roll Call 189:
Passed
To revise the law that requires the state to reimburse school, community college and library property tax districts for tax revenue they don’t collect because of tax breaks granted to property owners in a “renaissance zone." The bill would require that if a state budget shortfall causes the reimbursement to be less than 100 percent of the foregone revenue, the reduction must be pro-rated under a formula established in the bill. However, this would only appply in the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
