House Roll Call 342:
Passed
To revise the law under which the governor can appoint an emergency financial manager to manage an economically failing local government, by requiring consideration be given when the appointment is made of the "knowledge, skill and experience" of candidates in local government management. Also, to require the local government to file monthly reports to the state on all payments made to the manager, and require the manager to report any financial irregularities he or she finds.
