2010 Senate Bill 1131 ↩
House Roll Call 85:
Passed
To impose a licensing or permitting fee of $400, $800, or $1,600 on milk processing plants, based on their expected raw milk receipts, rather than the current $175 fee. Also, to impose licensure on dairy farms and pay a license or permit fee of $25 or $70, depending on inspection details; and to impose inspecting "plan review" fees of $100 or $300. Finally the bill would increase license fees for certified farm inspectors, receiving or transfer stations, milk trucks, truck cleaning facilities, milk transportation companies and tank trucks, distribution facilities, container manufacturers, and more.
