To revise the <A href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2009-HB-4493">new ban</A> on inexperienced young drivers transporting more than one non-family member under age 21 unless the driver’s parent or a "designated" adult is also present. The bill would revise the ban on these drivers driving between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. if they are driving "in the course of employment" (rather than just to or from work), or are going to or from an "authorized activity," meaning school events, some non-school or nonprofit events, or in emergencies.
