2011 Senate Bill 414 ↩
Senate Roll Call 130:
Passed
To impose a new coverage mandate that would require Blue Cross Blue Shield to include in all their policies coverage for treatments related to autism, and prohibit requiring a higher deductible or co-pay, or providing a lower benefit level than those that apply to treatments for other ailments. Senate Bill 981 would authorize state subsidies to insurance companies to cover the extra cost, but any actual subsidies would require an appropriation by the legislature.
