To expand a <A href="http://www.michiganvotes.org/2011-HB-4134">2012 law</A> that exempts land on which homes and apartments built "on spec" by residential real estate developers from school operations property tax for three years (or until the property is occupied, whichever occurs first). The bill would extend the exemption to new structures, not just the land.
