To appropriate $5.45 million for various education-related programs, including $1.25 million that had been vetoed previously by Gov. Rick Snyder for online math and assessment programs. The bill would also prohibit officials from requiring the parents of a homeschooled student who is enrolled in some public school classes (including "virtual" or online classes) to file an “educational development plan” with a public school district.
