To repeal a law that regulates explosives, which would be replaced by a federal permitting regime for their sale, possession and use. Among other things this legislative package comprised of House Bills 4523, 4524 and 5137 would require a background check before a person can get a permit to use explosives, and align Michigan law with current federal law in other ways.
