2018 House Bill 5505 ↩
Senate Roll Call 857:
Passed
To revise the definition of an adult foster care facility that must obtain a state license, so as to exclude a facility with just one or two residents. Also, to establish that providing a room under a landlord and tenant arrangement does not by itself exclude a person from this licensure mandate if other details of the arrangement meet the licensure criteria. The bill would also increase license fees imposed on these facilities, and revise details of a number of rules governing them.
