To repeal a requirement that the Department of Health and Human Services submit annual reports to the legislature on its “efforts to monitor and control HIV infection and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.” The bill would also require local health departments to destroy certain records, reports and data they have accumulated on HIV infections.
