To revise the law that established the conditions under which a rental property owner may enter the property to evict a tenant. Under current law an owner can enter if after “diligent inquiry” he or she believes in good faith the renter has departed and does not intend to return. Under the bill this determination could also be issued by a court officer or sheriff deputy.
