2021 Senate Bill 759 ↩
House Roll Call 607:
Passed
To establish that a licensed medical treatment professional in another state who would otherwise meet Michigan licensure requirements for rendering medical care during a staffing shortage caused by a public health emergency declared by the state health department, is not required to have a Michigan license to provide treatment here. This authority to let them practice largely exists already under current law, and the bill would clarify and slightly broaden it.
