To revise details of a program that gives state grants to counties to pay for various veterans services. Among other things the bill would waive certain “maintenance of effort” spending level requirements on county veteran programs in 2021 and 2022, allow counties to spend more of the money on administration and and also let a county reallocate money to an “emergent need relief program” in 2021 and 2022.
