The executive recommendation for the FY 2001-2002 Department of Agriculture budget. This appropriates $89.5 million in adjusted gross spending (funded from all sources, including special state restricted fund and federal pass-through dollars, minus interdepartmental transfers), compared to the current year’s $88.2 million, which is 1.4 percent more than the amount enacted in 2000. Of this, $48.0 million will come from the general fund (funded by actual state tax revenues), which is 2.1 percent greater than the current year’s $47.0 million.
