This appropriates $88.8 million in adjusted gross spending (funded from all sources, including special state restricted fund and federal pass-through dollars, minus interdepartmental transfers), compared to the current year’s $88.2 million, which is .6 percent greater than the amount enacted in 2000. Of this, $43.7 million will come from the general fund (funded by actual state tax revenues), which is 7.0 percent less than the current year’s $47.0 million.
