To establish an alternative energy renaissance zone dedicated to the support, research, development, enhancement, and manufacturing of alternative energy technology, with a duration of renaissance zone status for no more than 20 years. Alternative energy tax deductions, exemptions, or credits would not be extended to a property located in the alternative energy renaissance zone which is not used to directly promote and increase the research, development, and manufacturing of alternative energy technology.
