To impose new construction permit fees and annual license fees on public swimming pools, water parks, and campgrounds; and allow designated local health departments to collect additional fees. The construction fee for a new campground would be $600, and $225 for modifications to an existing one. The construction fee for a new swimming pool would be $550 to $1,800 depending on the size, and $275 for modifications to an existing pool. The initial license fee for a pool would be another $550 to $1,000, and for campgrounds another $75 to $500, depending on the size. The bill would impose some $700,000 in additional costs on public pools and campgrounds.
